HOW EVERYBODY RIDES STARTED

To help raise the necessary funds to continue our efforts, Project Mobility started Everybody Rides in 2013. Everybody Rides was created to be for all abilities, all ages, all inclusive, all FUN!

 

EVERYBODY is encouraged to join us for a day of cycling for a great cause.

 

Each year Project Mobility with the help of Freedom Concepts hosts our Adaptive Bike Giveaway. A few weeks leading up to Everybody Rides we host a contest on Project Mobility's Facebook page to give away a donated Freedom Concepts adaptive bike to a very deserving child. We ask families who are in need of an adaptive bike to tell their story. The child with the most “likes” will be the winner of the bike worth more than $4,000. At the Post Ride Celebration the winner is presented their bike. 

 

In 2015's Adaptive Bike Giveaway 8 children with disabilities participated; their pictures and stories were shared on Facebook and in less than 48 hours, the post with all the children’s stories reached more than 70,000 people in the United States and 9 other countries!

Everybody Rides to date has given away over 40 adaptive bikes! This would not be possible without all our donors, sponsors, riders and volunteers! Thank you for giving the freedom of mobility to many deserving people!
